Custom Rigging & Spreader Bars

CCGS Naalak Nappaaluk

Royal Rigging provided custom rigging equipment and engineered spreader bars for the CCGS Naalak Nappaaluk, a new Canadian Coast Guard vessel that entered service in May 2026.

Vessel Rigging Inspection & Delivery Service

Through our pickup, delivery, and after-hours service, we met the vessel at the Port of Vancouver during a brief stop before its Arctic science mission.

Our team collected the vessel’s rigging equipment, completed inspections, testing, and repairs, and returned all equipment to the ship to ensure its journey continued without delay.

Client Feedback:

All services were completed within three days, including pickup, inspection, repair, certification, and delivery.

Custom Spreader Bars

A client required a more efficient method to handle rooftop units of varying sizes during a condominium project. Existing lifting devices could not accommodate all unit dimensions, leading to operational challenges.
Our team designed a custom solution and collaborated with engineers to develop a fully certified lifting device. The spreader bar accommodates units from 2 to 5 feet wide, extends from 6 to 9 feet, and supports a Working Load Limit (WLL) of 4,000 lbs.
The complete system, including all required rigging equipment, was delivered on site and was ready for immediate use.

Aluex aluminum lifting beams provide lightweight, high-strength lifting solutions designed to improve safety, reduce manual handling, and increase efficiency across a wide range of lifting applications. What used to require multiple lifting beams, now requires 1. Available in a variety of capacities and configurations, they deliver reliable load control while helping crews work smarter on site. In addition, the Aluex Lifter is an innovative attachment designed specifically for lifting beams and roof trusses, allowing for hands-free release from the ground to improve safety, speed, and productivity.
